A LOOK
TO GET AN IDEA QUICKLY
THE THREAD has become a symbolic element, a bridge connecting past and present to reflect on life, on feelings and everyday concerns—small, human concerns, heartbeats that are sometimes blurred by the frenetic pace of the present.
When my mother's sewing machine fell into my hands, I wanted to learn how to use it as a tribute, a gesture to recompose and mitigate her absence.
The thread has become a path of growth and personal exploration, encouraging me to investigate, learn, and grow.
TEXTURE. Combination of threads, papers, stones, wood...
Passion for the inherent qualities of materials, for the mix, and for the discovery.
Always seeking a balance between the wild and the delicate. Overlapping materials to define shapes. Soft reliefs sketch out figures.
Yearning for a poetic balance between roughness and fragility.
GRAPHICS. Written paraules. They can be paraules reals triads for the sonority or for the semantics, accompanying the construction of the narrative and balancing the composition.
They can be printed or handwritten graphics, they can be real words or simply the residual gesture of the force of the stroke when writing and overwriting quickly.
Words of one's own and borrowed words. Words found and combined in a personal way to give rise to subtle and evocative reflections.
COLOR. The use of color has changed during the journey to consolidate personal language. The initial works were intense and saturated, the palette remained for a long time in hot temperatures. Currently, color gains value due to its wear and erosion, due to the play of glazes and transparencies. I seek to discover the nuances that color creates when it interacts with the textures and qualities of the surface.
I have a special fondness for natural colors... earth tones and oxides... I seek light in the shades of white that paper offers. I love to wear colors down with water and sun.
_WORK
ARTISTIC LANGUAGE
The work is structured around three fundamental axes:
MATTER & TEXTURE, which gives rise to the physical construction of the surface; COLOR, which forms the backbone of the emotional and compositional field; and GRAPHICS & WORDS, which creates a personal symbolic system that introduces the narrative.
These elements generate a hybrid language between painting, writing, and object.

COLLECTION
2021
DIALOGUES WITH THE GROUND.
In 2021, the research and creation of the raw materials that would nourish the work was incorporated as a particularly relevant part of the creative process, emulating the phases of agricultural cultivation; hence the concept of SOWING ART.
The fabrics and papers are laid out outdoors for months, worked with pigments and oxides, thus entering into dialogue with the passage of time and the erosions of humidity, water and sunlight.
FOR THE COLLECTION _AVALL
140 DAYS OF CULTIVATION, listening to time and weather.
40 DAYS OF MANUAL HARVESTING.
(divided into 6 collection phases)
20 DAYS OF CLEANING AND DRYING the canvas.
(divided into 6 collection phases)
80 SESSIONS OF CREATIVE WORK
(spread over 6 phases of creation)
COLLECTIONS
I usually organize my work into collections or series, allowing me to advance in deeper processes of reflection and research.
